Leave a gift to IcFEM Dreamland Mission in your will and let your legacy live on in the lives of vulnerable people in Kimilili Kenya.
Writing a will is an important and sometimes emotional process. We understand that your primary concerns will be for those of your family and loved ones. However, if you would like to leave a gift to charity in your will we would love you to consider IcFEM Dreamland Mission.
We will use your gift to help vulnerable children and adults. It could pay for a cataract operation, allowing a blind person to see and be able to provide for their family once more. Or pay for a child’s education, giving them the chance of a future. It could pay for life saving surgery, the salary of a nurse or doctor, desperately needed medical equipment or even a new classroom. Your lift could even be used to set up a micro business, helping individuals support their own families and the wider community.
If you would like to include a gift to IcFEM Dreamland Mission please speak with your solicitor, our registered charity number is 1107038. Your solicitor will also be able to advise of the tax benefits to legacy giving.
Please do let us know if you do decide to leave us a gift, we will then have the chance to discuss with you how you would like your gift to be used and of course to thank you.
What a Legacy Can Achieve
The Gift of Education
A generous legacy gift is currently paying for three children to be sponsored through school at Dreamland Mission Hospital. A lasting gift which is changing the lives of these children and giving them the chance of a future.
The Gift of Health
At Dreamland Mission Hospital we treat many needy patients who either can’t afford to pay for their treatment or are unable to register for health insurance in Kenya. A legacy gift has paid for the treatment and care of a needy patient, enabling them to once again support their family.
The Gift of Sustainability
NAFAS catering service was started with help from a legacy fund left to IcFEM. The profits from the business help to the running costs and the community work of the Mission.
Based at Dreamland Mission Hospital, NAFAS serves those working on or visiting the site as well as the wider community, the team offer food to individuals as well as providing catering services for large events. This service offers employment to over 100 people from the local community meaning that these people can provide for their families.
This business model allows the mission to provide employment for the local community as well as creating profits that further the work the mission is doing in the community.
